Review Tornado Text Snippets

Text Snippets in Review Tornado allow you to customize the text of the review request email and landing page that your customers see.  Using Text Snippets you can add personalized details about your customer and their transaction to your review request funnel.

In Review Tornado text snippets begin and end with a colon and are a single word or a group of combined words.  For instance, the text snippet :FIRSTNAME: can be used to show the customer’s first name.  So, instead of saying “Hi, Customer” you can say “Hi, :FIRSTNAME:” which shows up to your customer as “Hi, John”.

In Review Tornado, the following text snippets are available for your use:

• :BUSINESSNAME: – This shows the name of your business as defined within Review Tornado.
• :FIRSTNAME: – This shows your customer’s first name, as entered on their customer record.
• :SERVICE: – This shows the name of the product or service that your customer purchased from you.  If you set a service on the customer’s record when you added a customer, that value will be used for this Text Snippet.  Otherwise, the default product / service name defined in your funnel will be used for this value.
• :SERVICEDATE: – This text snippet can be used to show the date your customer made their purchase.  You’ll need to enter this value for every customer when you add new customers if you plan to use this value within your review funnels.

Text Snippets are available for your use on most places where you can place text that your customers can see, including the review request email subject line and body and the review request landing page, private feedback form and private feedback form thank you page.
