Will having more Google reviews really help my business grow?

Customers who are searching for services they need right now don’t have time to wade through a bunch of options and hope they are picking a winner.  They’re more likely to pick one or two providers near them with a high review count and high rating and call them.  They’re not going to pick the merchant who has three reviews with the last one left two years ago.  They’re going to pick the safe bet, the provider with more than 50 five star reviews who has social proof consisting of the reviews of many happy customers.

You can be the best refrigerator repairman, plumber or electrician there is but your customers who need you right now won’t know that unless you can get them to click through to your website or call your number.  This is where Google reviews come in.  They send a clear green light signal to a customer that this business is trustworthy and won’t rip them off when help is needed urgently.

What do you do if you don’t have any Google reviews?
